![]() I dont think your issue is particularly Windows or HP related, you have a 49 error when your on the network so the issue might be nothing more than someone printing PDF files which cant be interpreted or the network has a fault and is sending erroneous data to the printer. Im not too sure where you got the steps you completed, instructions on how to deploy the firmware are included in every firmware download, it will normally detail anyall methods you can use. ![]() If you can ping your printer then you might be able to push the firmware but in some cases you cant so its best to go back to cable connection and push it locally. In many cases you can download the easy firmare utility, if the drivers are loaded it will show the printer in the utility and its just a case of ticking the printer, if your printer drivers are loaded but on Network port then you can right click the printer, go into properties and select a USB port to redirect it, this often works. I dont have any of these problems on my Mac, iPhone, or computers running Linux. ![]() I will post that information (if I fgure it out) if anyone finds this post to be worth anything, so please let me know if its helpful. If you are running a different version of Windows, you need to get to the little screen where it shows the print jobs.
